I Love Watching Net 25: SPOON-Your Spoonful of Talk

Oh I just love this show that I always watch every Sundays on Net 25 at 6:30 pm. Net 25: SPOON-Your Spoonful of Talk was hosted by Janice de Belen. It's a cooking and a talk show at the same time. Eventhough Janice is not my fave, I commend her for her good hosting skills. She can bring out the best in her guests making them feel comfortable talking to her about their lives etc. Not every host can do that but she has that charm and she looks warm and friendly.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
You will not only get to see celebrities cook their fave dish but you'll be able to know more about them personally at their Taste Buddies/ Silver Moments segment. I also always await the 'Slice of Life' segment where they exchange gifts to each other. Hahahah It's fun to see the reactions of the celebrities when they receive breads, cooking oils, canned good etc. from Spoon's sponsors. You can also catch a glimpse of them online at Net 25: SPOON-Your Spoonful of Talk

Diseases and Cure for Ailments

With the recent scare about swine flu or now called A(H1N1) we can’t help but to be paranoid at times when we see someone with persistent colds and have fever. We might even found ourselves keeping distance to persons showing signs and symptoms of flu eventhough even if it not a confirmed case of A(H1N1). We can’t blame ourselves for doing that because we are only safe guarding ourselves from being infected. In the recent days, the Dept. of Health has been showing how to wash our hands and other safety measures that we can do.

But if we try to look at it, there are far more deadly disease than A(H1N1) that may kill people each day. A(H1N1) has just been highlighted since it spreads just fast around the world. We need to keep ourselves up to date about Diseases and Cures for Ailments

and the Internet is the best way to keep us informed. Know the facts on cures for ailments from sDr Daniel Amen, the founder of the Amen Clinics.

Charice Pempengco was Supposed to be One of the Guest on Michael Jackson's World tour

Just in case you didn't know our very own Charice Pempengco was supposed to be one of the guest at Michael Jackson's World Tour in July. Too bad this will not come true anymore because of the shocking death of Michael Jackson. She was deeply saddened about it since this will be a great opportunity for her to be with Michael. Sayang no? She's been keeping it a secret all along but when MJ died she had revealed it already.

Here's her interview on news just in case you haven't seen it. Youtube video by litepci

Gift from a Sweet Friend

I've been waiting for the delivery guy last week for I know there'll be a surprise coming from someone. Last June 24, saw a delivery guy coming and I beamed when I saw that he has something for me.

This Nine West wallet was a gift from my sweet friend in the US Cherry Rose -CHIKAI. Thank you so much Che. I love it! I'm using it already. So sweet of her to remember me and sent me something when her husband came home for a quick vacation here in Pinas.

Tough Times Make People Seek Extra Ways to Generate Money

Recession has no doubt affected lots of people around the globe and through that economic crunch people have learned how to tighten their belts just to keep both ends meet. Some may have survived but some unfortunately have failed. Those that are expending beyond their means before might have considered putting their extra bucks inside their wallets or to put them in good use already. Those that were laid off from their jobs seek another job eventhough the pay is much lesser that what they are earning before. Here, you can even see people working 2 jobs at the same time and even selling some stuff in the office. Through tough times we can’t blame people why they’ll do anything for some moolah.

I will not wonder anymore why these days some people are selling gold coins for cash online. Individuals are probably finding more ways to produce further income or money for their family. As an evidence of its growth, Cash4Gold has a staff of 300 and counting as more and more clients are selling their gold online with utmost confidence. Know more about the Cash4Gold company here.

Blogging Like Crazy

Project 365: Blogging Like Crazy
Feelin' achy this morning bec. of pms once again . I opened my shop after lunch already since I am too lazy. Still feelin' sluggish, I opened my assignment's dashboard and saw quite an ample of them sitting and waiting for me to be blogged.

Not wanting to miss the deadline on Monday, I hurriedly blogged eventhough at times I am just too lazy and my brain seems not functioning well lol. Just imagine the multiple blogs that I have that I need to update.. har har..
At this point I am not finished yet but there's still tomorrow hehe. I'm off now. HAPPY WEEKEND everyone!!

Learning to Ride a Bike

more practiceoooopssiesss
Reign trying to learn how to ride a bike last Monday. She asked her dad to bring out the bike from the storage room and look she is trying to drive it without any help but oopsies she fell. We told her that it was ok to fall bec. that is where she'll learn.

I remember when I about 7 or so when I learned how to ride a bike and good thing is that once we learn it we'll never forget how to do it eventhough we seldom ride a bike.

Photohunt: Flags

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I was in Sydney last year to have a vacation. We went at Port McQaurie during the Australia Day and these are Australian Flags being sold at one one of the fairs. This is my entry for this week's theme: FLAGS at Photohunters.

I have an entry at my other blog

They Want an Xbox 360!

We are already half way till Christmas time and time really flies so fast and little did we know it'll be Christmas once again. I had a little conversation with my nephews the other day while watching them play games at the Internet. I asked them stop playing for a while since they have been burning the pc for quite an ample time already. I also advised them to play some other games that will require physical activity outside.

I even asked them what they want for Christmas and they hurriedly told me that they want an xbox 360 without a doubt. I am not quite familiar with that since the kids are the ones expert in that and so I looked over the Internet and tried to research how much it was. It was a bit pricey but we'll look into that if we can afford to give them that this Christmas.

Wow I opened my laptop just this 6 am and I've been hearing on Twitter that Michael Jackson already died at 50 due to heart attack. Keep our Home Safe with Home Security System

I remember clearly the days when our house was almost ransack couple of times many years ago. It’s was such disheartening days bec. some of our belongings are just taken away by some crook people. We are still grateful enough because during those times because we are not at home and nobody is hurt. I don’t know what I can feel and do when that happens. No matter how much we try to shield our home from people with criminal minds we can never just sit around and just hope they will not enter our homes. These days no one is really exempted from any harm no matter what is your status in life. Life can be unjust sometimes but as home owners we need to think some ways on how to prevent it.

Home Security System is by far one of the most popular ways to protect not just our homes but any place that is. More and more companies and homes are now installing security system, home security cameras, home automation or monitored alarm for safety. They can serve as a deterrent if not totally stop any crime. If you will notice, most of the malls, buildings, banks have cctv cameras that can even help in any investigation when a crime was committed.

Overtime

Wow it's almost 12 midnight at my side of the world and here I am half-awake waiting for something to come up. I can barely write anything here, must be my brain is shutting down because I've been up since 5;30 this morning.

I am blogging while 'watching" or should I say listening to the TV hehe. On now is Probe Team and I think it is a good show to watch. Anyway, need to go now to watch the show.. Night all!!

Typhoon Feria is Here: No Classes

I watching the news late last night and it was already announced that NCR Manila is already Signal No. 2 and also the CALABARZON provinces and that includes our province. I just this morning around 5:30 am, DEP_ED also announced that there's no classes on pre-school, elementary and highschool levels.

My nephew is not convinced yet so we tuned into watching TV and the news and it was clear that if:
SIGNAL NO. 1 - pre-school no classes
SIGNAL NO. 2 - no classes for pre-school, elem, and h-school
SIGNAL NO. 3 - all levels no classes.

I guess some of the students are rejoicing again .. little did they know that they will pay for the days that there's no classes. Meaning they will have extra days on Saturdays or their school year will extend till April.

How to Recover Deleted Files on PC?

My sister-in-law was looking for her daughter's pictures in my other computer and I told her it was on the D section since I already moved the files. She patiently looked for it but she can't seem to find it. I was not contented so I took the turns of looking for it but to my dismay it was really not there! Oh no !!! I thought I have placed it in there when I reformatted the pc because of a virus.

Wahhh... I guess I must have deleted it and it's my fault. I think it was over thousands of photos in there that was gone.. !! Aggie told me that there is a way to recover it and she will still ask her husband about it.

If you also have a way on How to Recover Deleted Files on PC then please tell me so. Thank you.

Medical Years

I suddenly remember my medical years and it brings a lot of memories in me. The finest and the most memorable years is in my 4th year when are at our Internship. We have been assigned on different hospitals that we can hone our skills and in my case as a medical technologist. We have been working in the laboratory and the equipments back then were not that high tech and sophisticated yet compared these days.

We also had the chance to look for medical supplies such as petri dishes, test tubes and other lab equipments on the wholesale stores. Wish there’s already online medical stores back then like Allegro so that we can purchase in a swift. They have lots of medical supplies that any hospitals or medical facilities can use like Blood Pressure Monitor, wound care products, shower chair, maternity care and lots more.

Reign in Uniform

My niece Reign already wearing their school uniform one early morning. It was a new school uniform and girls and boys are wearing pants already to prevent them from bitten by mosquitoes in school. The boys have blue polo shirts while the girls in this pink one. She also had her big name plate on so that her teacher can easily memorize their names.

It's Reign's 1st time to be in a big school so we are all excited. I took some photos of her before she goes to school.

Jon and Kate Gosselin are Divorcing

We all have seen the war between this couple for quite a while now and the news about Jon and Kate Gosselin getting a divorce was not a surprise to me anymore. If two people are really fighting and can't seem to stand each other's presence then I guess it is better to just separate to avoid much conflict.

If I read it right the show Jon and Kate plus 8 will still air despite their separation. Ahhhh what a bad ennding for a 10 yr. marriage. I am still guessing what will happen to their kids. That I have to find out next.

Are You Tying the Knot?

Just like they say June is the month for weddings and some women would love to be a June bride. Wedding preparations can be daunting and tiring but all your efforts will be worth it when you see the smiles of your family and your guests. It also helps if you sought the help of wedding coordinators to help ease the burden of preparations. You can also inquire at Karisma Hotel where they offer packages for destination weddings that any couple can peruse. It's a once in a lifetime event so if you have the money and all the resources then I guess it's not bad to splurge a little.

As a couple you deserve the best and after all your sleepless nights and those butterfly in your stomachs you two should take into a grand honeymoon that you'll both enjoy and cherish.

My Sleeping Habits

Just found this old meme and thought I'd answer them still.
Do you have a specific side of the bed you have to sleep in?
- I always love to sleep on my side with pillow on my feet.
Do you snore?
~ Fortunately I don't
Do you drool on the pillow?
~ hahaha, once in a while i found myself doing that
Are you a kicker?
~ I think No
Do you hear the alarm clock or do you need a bomb to go off next to your ear so you can wake up?
~ I can hear the alarm clock when I set it
What are your sleeping habits?
~I love to put on my blanket from waist down. I have 2 pillows on my feet and I love hugging a pillow while sleeping.

Laptop is very Convenient to have

I am so glad that I finally bought a laptop about 3 weeks ago and we already have an Internet connection at the house. Just recently I was able to tour my sis JOY at our house again for the 1st just by using the webcam on my laptop. It's been over 9 years since she has not seen almost all the areas in our house so she was delighted to see our house again.

It's also convenient for me because I can also do all my internet stuff in the house eventhough I am already using my desktop at my store. I can even use the laptop inside my room even though the connection is a bit slow because the router is at my sis in law's house which is just beside our house.

Father's Day

free myspace graphics :: myspace images :: myspace pictures free myspace layouts
Before I forget I want to greet all the father's out there a Happy Father' Day!! It's your special day today so relax and enjoy the day. It makes me remember my dad who is not with us anymore.

We had a very sumptuous lunch today with chicken, pork liempo barbeque. Plus there's also grilled Tilapia and of course vegetable salad. I hope you also had a nice celebration.

Chocolate Overload

PROJECT 365: Chocolate Overload
I am munching Kisses chocolates right now while also watching TV at the same time. Talk about multi-tasking hehe. These are delicious chocolates the we got from our sister. My sis in Saudi sent these chocolates and some other stuff through a friend who came home for a vacation. My favorite chocolates are M&M and fruits and nuts, too bad sis wasn't able to send some hehe. Anyway, my family has been feasting with chocolates since yesterday and they are certified chocoholics unlike me.

Silver Thoughts

I've recently purchased a silver watch online from a friend and I can't really wait for it to arrive so that I can add that to my silver watch collections. Yeah I know I already had some but watches are really my favorite. These days more and more people are investing in silver in many forms. Aside from gold, silver has been known to be precious and worth investing and collecting. Silver is also known to be used in health care products. Just in case you want to invest in silver coins or bouillons/bars, you can contact Monex group of company and they are more than willing to accommodate any of your queries for your investment opportunities.

My Online Shopping

Ok, how can I resist shopping for watches? It's my fave piece of jewelry. My friend online in the US, FAYE is selling authentic Fossil, DKNY, Lacoste watches on her Flickr account for very reasonable price. I bought a nice and simple DKNY watch and I can't wait for it to arrive. Faye already sent the item last Tuesday and maybe around after 10 days it will come. I am just excited to have it and use it. I will share pics when it arrive.

Temptations still runs through so I ordered an RL (Ralph Lauren) bag from her as well. This time it will be free shipping since she already sent the item via a balikbayan box. I am guessing that it will arrive around 2nd or 3rd week of July.. Can't wait for that too because I need to replace my cheap bag already. Check out FAYE's for sale stuff She has authentic Coach bags as well, too bad I can't afford it LOL.

She Loves Dora

Reign with Dora balloon. She saw this after we heard mass last Sunday. Her mom and I don't want her to buy this bec. it's a bit expensive for a balloon but of course she insisted to buy one. I was actually pulling her hand not to buy and told her that we'll buy her food instead. Of course she doesn't like it.

Now this balloon is just in their house idle. Kids just love to buy lots of toys and in the end they will just leave it in the corner.

Deer Valley Ski Rentals

I guess it’s not that embarrassing to tell you all that I also dream of seeing a snow. Living in a tropical country all my life, I guess it’s but natural for me to somewhat have that in my mind. Though I have seen small chunks of snow on a hail storm one stormy weather in Sydney while I was there few years back, it’s not like seeing a real massive snow where I can make snowman. … hahaha.

Anyway, before I’d even continue with rant about my fervent wish to see a snow I guess it’s just fitting to just share to you where to go to do skiing if you are in the US. My online friend Cherry Rose who migrated in Utah for over a year now has shown us her 1st snow pictures and it looks so fun.

Oh, I should share about the Deer Valley Mountain Resort to her so that the next time they’ve planned on skiing she’ll already have a place to go. Aside from that Ski Butlers have deer valley ski rentals as well as snow board rentals. What makes it convenient is that their technicians can go in your house to custom fit you and that saves you from hassle on the rental line. I know it’ll be a perfect snow experience for her family. You can check them out too and it’s never too early to reserve.

Keeping Alcohol and Sanitizers Handy

With the recent outbreak of A(H1N1) Flu Cases in the Phils, we really never be sure when we will hit one of us. All of us have different immune system so we better be sure by keeping alcohol or sanitizers in handy. Cases have gone up from 200 to almost 250 in just a matter of days and is it already a cause to be alarmed? Although DOH (Dept of Health) did not advice to wear mask yet bt I guess if you are going to a very crowded place it can help for sure.

Yesterday one of my customer, sneeezed in front of me without even covering her mouth. Oh gosh and that is so disgusting and simply NASTY!!! She said sorry but hey she's spreding her germs on me. She needs to learn how to cover her mouth.. !!

Anyway, I hope we'll all be safe.

New York, New York

Who would not even dream of coming to the Big Apple? The City that never sleeps that is what they are saying for there are many fun places and activities that you can go and do there while you are visiting this big city up until the wee hours of the night. I have never been there but I’ve heard lots of good feedbacks about NY. I have many relatives living in LA and actually I am not sure yet if they have toured about New York, I have yet to check them about it.

Oh well I guess I have to share a site that I’ve found whilst browsing online last night. I have seen lots of packages at City Sights NY that any family or group can take advantage of. It’s always fun to tour a city when you know where you are going so that you’ll not miss an important or popular place to go to. I am sure that touring the city can be more exciting by hopping the famous double decker buses where you can get the best view.

Tours can be from from Broadway shows, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, to harbor cruises and more. What makes it more exciting is that they also have a Helicopter Ride, ahhh this must be enjoyable (gosh I miss one of this activity while I am in Sydney). Anyway, should you be touring NY city then I guess browsing and making reservations early will always prove to be practical.

My Intuitive Reasoning

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Hahaha..After finally moving my INTUITIVE REASONING blog from Blogger to Wordpress last Saturday, I can't help but to worry because sad to say it was not a smooth switch because of some errors on it but my my nephew KARLO has been working on it to fix it.

There are time that he needed to reset the settings because of the unfixable errors on the comment section. Right now it is working perfectly and already asked some of my blogger friends to test my comment box and I am glad their comments went through. There is however minor bug because Nita told me that it has pop-ups and we are guessing it must be because of the cbox. I am now contemplating if I am going to remove it or not.

Please take a peek at my INTUITIVE REASONING blog. Thank you.

Computer Based Training

Owning a small net café proved to be a bit challenging for me sometimes. I have a little know how when it comes to troubleshooting our computers but there are times I just want to bang my head because I can’t seem to find the problem. Good thing is that I can now reformat computers when my nephew who is taking up computer engineering taught me how. Thankfully, I saved a lot of trips to my technician and money as well for the repair fee. I guess that is how far I can go with my troubleshooting aside from removal of virus and other stuff but when it comes to parts and other trouble that is when I call the help of the professionals.

My technician is also generous in helping me out at times when I need a quick fix on computers over the phone. I am just thankful for him with his kindness and I always admire his talent when it comes to pc diagnostics and I am not quite sure what he took up to attain such expertise. Lucky for many students there is an online website like K Alliance where they offer training online about computer diagnostic tools and troubleshooting the computers. They even have variety of computer training videos with a lot of topics like IT training, Desktop Office and lots more. These videos can help hone their skills. Just recently K Alliance acquired Pro Diagnostics who over the years have been offering computer hardware diagnostics. I reckon this is a good chance for students and pc professionals to acquire more skills and expertise in this field.

A (H1N1) Flu Cases in Phils. Rises

A(H1N1) Flu Cases in Phils. rises and it's nearing about 200 cases like what I have heard in the news and it's kinda alarming already. It's also in the news that Jaen, Nueva Ecija where declared as "first community-level outbreak" because the DOH said there is already 11 confirmed A(H1N1)cases. Yay!!!

Now that all students are back in school, I think there will be more risk for this virus to spread. tsk tsk tsk... I hope those students who are sick should not be permitted to go to school to prevent more spread. Keep hand sanitizers and alcohols in handy and advice your kids and anyone to wash their hands more often.

Let's just hope and pray that A(H1N1) will not spread further and no more lives will be affected.

Wishing I Can Fit in this Women's Dress

I was at Greenhills about 2 or 3 weeks ago and that is one of my favorite shopping place ever since I got to know the place in the 90’s. The place is the haven for Tech gadgets (cellphones, pc, etc), >Womens Apparel
, Jewelries (lots of quality pearls) and other stuff. Every now and then I tend to buy one or 2 pieces for my own pleasure. Need to reward myself for working hard, I bet you do that too.

Anyway, I am not into wearing a dress, not sure why but I guess I am not that confident. I guess I just need to wear them everytime so that I will get used to it. Ahh.. How'd I wish I can wear that dress in the picture. I also find women so attractive when they wear eye catching Womens Dress paired with their fave shoes and attractive designer bags. It always makes my head turn to scrutinize what they are wearing, women do that a lot you know..lol .

However, there are nice Womens Dresses
at the mall and many online stores these days. Trendy and fashionable styles are coming up every time. With summer heading over at some parts of the world, more women are gearing up to wear their summer dresses, flip flops, sandals and just enjoy the weather. I can also imagine beaches flocked by vacationers.

The World of IT

In this day and age, the Internet has been a part of us since its evolution. We do almost all our transaction online now from simple emailing, chatting, paying bills, to e-commerce and more. There’s no doubt that the net is here to stay where technology, communications and information are vital part of our lives now. I will not wonder anymore why there is a sudden increase of students taking IT or Information Technology courses or simply called InfoTech over the couple of years. I have known many students who are taking up that course and personally told them that is a good choice. If given the chance to rewind my college days, I should have chosen this field.

There are lots of opportunities in this line and IT professionals should be equipped with more knowledge. Learning should never stop. You’ll be ahead of your competitors when you keep yourself abreast with the ever changing world of IT, from software to hardware applications, networking etc.. Attending seminars and cisco boot camp will generally help you hone your skills and not to mention you’ll be able to get your Cisco Certification. Owning such certificate will give you the edge in getting a job. Should you be interested in attending Cisco boot camp just inquire at CountryWideTraining.com, they have trained professional instructors to help you out.

Project 365: Testing Their New DSLR

PROJECT 365: Testing his new NikonD90
My nephew testing their new NIKON D90 that they bought last Tuesday at Mayer's in Quiapo. It was really a blessing because they finally got a DSLR. They really want to have one for so long because my nephew needs a camera for the Thesis in school.

They were able to buy one bec. his dad (my bro) won at the recent GSIS Painting Competition 2009. They allocated the money to buy this and other photography stuff. Just this afternoon he already strted shooting photos for his thesis.

My New Laptop

At last my dreams of owning a laptop finally came true. Last weekend together with my niece I was able to buy myself a DELL INSPIRON 1420 with my hard earned money. I was so happy withe my purchase and even happier because I already have a net at home. Teeeheee. That means more surfing time after coming home from work and that means more moolah (hopefully). I think I've been blessed to own one.

Even if I wanted to buy a more expensive and high-tech models of DELL such as the Studio and the XPS, my budget will not allow me that. The specs of this model suits my pc needs.

See the specs of this DELL laptop and my freebies at my SHOPPING BLOG

Trying to Move at Wordpress

I've been contemplating of moving my INTUITIVE REASONING blog to Wordpress but just thinking about it makes me baffled a little bit because I have no clue where to start. I am just so glad that my nephew Karlo who's into Wordpress since he starting blogging many years ago. He also have his blogs hosted at BLue host and he told me I can ride on his account.

Just this afternoon he has given me pass and an account to his hosting. With little know how on WP, I was trying to learn the ins and outs of WP dashboard. The net also serves my guide in how to transfer all my posts at WP. My online friends Tere also came to the rescue in helping me out. I know i still have many things to learn but I know EVERYTHING will be learned in time.

As I was editing my theme and other stuff there, I am not sure why suddenly I was not able to login back to my dashboard because errors keep coming in. My tech support is not around that time to help me out so in the meantime, that blog has not completely at WP yet.

I hope in time it will work out fine.. Oh boy it just makes me so tired figuring out somethings there.

Jazzing Up our Home with Furniture

I guess most of us have dreamed of owning a nice house where we can have all the liberty to decorate and put all the stuff that our heart’s desire. Just how many times you find yourself stopping by the furniture store just to get a glimpse of your would-be favorite chair or those sparkling chandeliers hanging in the store waiting for you to purchase it. You might have promised yourself that since it is recession year, you will not allow yourself to swipe your little 'plastic money' at the counter but how can you resist taking home a nice accent sofa or a nice lamp? I reckon it would not hurt your pocket if you really made a good purchase.

Just take for example these Gump’s hand blown vases that my eyes feasted on. The shape is so striking that it’ll start up a conversation among your friends when they see them at your home. Actually we can affordably decorate our homes with nice furniture pieces and that is if we know where to find one.

I can recommend you to browse StyleHive.com and there’s no doubt you’ll find good ideas and inspirations for your homes. Unearthing the stylish in you is worth the try because in no time you’ll be decorating your house in a tasteful manner.

Cool Twitter Badges For Your Blogs/Sites

I was at my friend CARYL's blog yesterday and saw she has a nice twitter badge posted there. I was curious where she got it so I asked her on twitter and she was kind enough to give me the link of the designer of these Twitter Badges.

These Twitter Badges are from LIMESHOT and just in case you want to download them just go to the site. As you can see I put one of the red badges here located at the right side of my blog.

If you don't have an account at TWITTER yet, then now is the time to sign up!

It's Time to Play Pool

It’s holiday here 2 days in a row. Yesterday was the “Araw ng Rizal” (Rizal Province Day) and today it’s our Nation’s 111st Independence Day so it’s a perfect time to just be at home to bond with the family or with friends. You need not to go out at the mall or some place else to have some fun as there are many activities that you can do at home from playing cards, mind games, basketball, watching movies and billiards.

I am sensing that there are a lot of guys honing their skills at the pool table right now and some even have betting on the side. I have no talent when it comes to this sport but it looks interesting to learn more about this game. If you are itching to set up your own pool table at home or even think of having it as a business then you need to acquire nice and quality pool cue ,Pool Table and its accessories so that players will enjoy. Pool Dawg happens to be a good source for all your pool needs, aside from that they have very informative articles that is worth reading from Pool basics, buying guides, maintenance tips and whole lot more.

Fave Blog Awards

I Need to Get Back in the Groove

Lately it’s been raining the whole day and that’s a perfect weather to eat a lot and laze around. I’ve been also complaining about the pain on my left leg brought about my varicose veins. No wonder it is due to too much sitting because my work requires me to be in front of the computer almost the whole day. Sometimes with my too much concentration, I already forgot to get up and stretch a bit and I know that is not healthy and good.

I have also the habit of slouching on my computer chair every after meal or snack that I already got excess fats on my stomach. Blame it also on the carbonated colas and too much eating, I better watch my weight or I will end up looking for the best diet pill in town. I hope I can get myself back to playing badminton like I used to do last year. My only exercise each day is playing with our pet dog Sophie in front of the house. I get to run after her (Sophie) when she wants to our neighbor.

Anyway, my poor knee also gave up on me last Saturday when we our out shopping. My niece and I were both laughing because I have a hard time going up the passover stairs going to SM North Annex. I literally have to pause for a while before continuing. Yikes, a sure sign of me getting old.

I'm Not Getting Any Younger

I am so happy when I always hear this comment: “Ohhh.. you don’t look your age”. That is a very nice compliment to receive especially at my age of 41. Yeah, right.. I am not young anymore but those comments always kept me young and inspired to feel young. Even when I was younger, some even mistaken me for a high school student, how about that..lol. I believe they said that because I am petite, I don’t have any drinking or smoking vices and I don’t have too much stress in my life yet. Experts even said that stress and unhealthy lifestyle will dramatically increase your risk of looking old.

Hmmm… but when I always look at the mirror these days, I can’t help but to feel a bit sad because my skin have changed all these years. I really can’t stop ageing because that is part of our lives. Now that I am in my early 40’s, sad to say that I already have those “lines” in my face, if I can it honestly, I have already wrinkles especially in my eye area. And with deep inspection of my face, the dark circles below my eyes are visible as well; I know that it has brought about my staying up late at nights.

I already have had one of those days being silly because how’d I wish to stop my ageing but how can I do that, it’s never gonna happen. Anyway, I already know that there are many formulations that can help minimize those wrinkles because I was able to read some at eye wrinkle cream reviews website that I have found. All I need is to read and compare each of them and I know one will eventually suit my skin. You check out the reviews for more info. Right now, I don’t need to stress myself about my wrinkles because I know in the future I have something to use to somewhat eliminate them.

I Want a Room Make-over

Just had the curtains in my room washed by our laundry woman the other week and I must say I already hate replacing new ones in my window. I just don’t like the idea of reaching out on the window pane to put it properly and that is because I am too small to do that haha. Argghh.. I reckon I already need blinds for it .

The net is so accessible so I looked for ideas and saw some nice once at Budget Blind. I’ve been browsing around and there are a lot of varieties of roman shades that took my attention. I was hoping I can have a room make-over soon but I am not sure. If that will be feasible I’d also love to replace my old and chipped paint that looks dirty already. With the looks of it, my room really needs a complete make-over and I should allocate money for that.

Have You Played Paintball?

Weekend is here once again and I guess most of you are going out with family or with your friends. Some will go to the malls to shop and those that love sports would probably bond with their friends playing basketball, bowling, golf, or even paintball. I am not sure what is my plan for the weekend; I just hope that I’ll be able to buy the gadget that I want for so long.

Anyway, I have not tried this sport yet but it looks fun and exciting. It not only requires physical alertness but mental as well. You’ve got to have good team connection and good tactic to outwit your opponent. Recently, I have noticed that paintball grounds are gaining popularity and these facilities for sure have acquired the best paintball marker and other gears for their customers. I reckon they should do that so their customers will keep coming back. Ahh for sure guys would love this kind of game.

Have You Tweet Lately?

If you don't know about Twitter yet, i guess you've been left behind. Don't you know that even Hollywood celebs are tweetering these days and it's fun to see what they are up to. You can even follow your fave celeb if you want.

I have been twittering since last year and it's fun. I have set my tweets private for our group. You can see my twitter window is open at the screenshot. I am using Twitterfox, which is an FREE Firefox extension so I don't need to use a separate window for our tweets. It will notify me of new tweets from my tweet friends.

I made another Twitter account and this time it is public just follow me if you want

What You Need to Know When You Want to Put Up a Business

Sometimes it’s pretty daunting to invest on a business because we always think what if it fails. I have been hearing lots from the experts from watching a local business related TV shows and they always have good advices.

Here are just some, if you really want to have a business find what is your passion and what do you really like because in this way, you will really love what you’re doing. Make a careful planning, choose a good location, and you need to have a know how on your product or services that you are selling/serving. Now that if your business is up, you need to acquire good people that you can trust and are dependable. You also need to have good relationship with your employees and of course with your customers. Some may even get the services of top San Diego PR Firm to help them out especially if they have big companies or corporations. You need not be left behind when it comes to marketing. No one knows your products/services if you will not advertise it.

Cebu Inmates Dance Jai Ho

Saw this at the news last night and it was interestingly enough to watch the Cebu Inmates dance all at the same time at Jai Ho song from Slumdog Millionaire movie. They must be enjoying their dance as it is also form of exercise and activity for them while they are inside the jail. Before, they also danced to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (don't fail to watch this).
Now Cebu Inmates Dance Jai Ho.

Buy by Bulk

My sis has been selling items like shirts, pants, blouses an other stuff to her co-hospital employee and I must she must be having a good profit out of it. Actually we are the ones who purchase wholesale items for her in Divisoria and we’ll send it to her then she’ll be one to sell it by retail. I think she’ll be paid at the end of the month or if it is salary day.

For those that can’t go to Divisoria to by wholesale items I will just recommend liquidation.com where you can buy wholesale clothing, accessories/handbags, electronics and lots more by the bulk. I know this will be much cheaper if you are planning to sell them by retail. There are even branded items that you can bid on.

Porject 365: Moshi Moshi

PROJECT 365: Moshi Moshi
My niece, Reign has been very creative these days. Just last Monday I saw her making something out of a plastic cups and made later on I found out that she made a telephone out of it and straw as the handle.

She didn't want me to take picture of her holding it but I told her she can't use the computer to play games. Later on she told me it's ok for me take shot of her..LOL. A great bribe huh..lol

Self Portrait on a Crappy Day

Boo
I am not feeling so well last Sunday but I still managed to grab my camera and take shots of myself. Actually I need to do that because I am completing my photo-a-day or called Project 365. I know you have been seeing a lot of my P365 photos here so I know you are not wondering anymore.

Bejewelled

I have mentioned before that I regard my sis JoyD to be a jewelry lover. Her countless diamond rings (I exaggerated it a bit) would melt any ladies hearts and that includes me. Thanks to her very generous husband who always gifted her with stylish, elegant and expensive jewelries for her to keep and treasure. I know she’d immediately browse and pick her favorite designer costume jewelry when I will recommend HolstedJewelers.com. Pretty sure she will like the online store and who knows she might make a purchase. Knowing her, I know she’ll browse the diamond jewelry section and be glued there.

Perhaps, women like her who knew quality and have good taste in jewelries will without a doubt pay attention to the myriad collection of exclusively designed jewelry, gifts and accessories.

Transferring/Copying Files

PROJECT 365: Transfer
I have been worrying lately about my hard disc space that I have no option but to shell put some of money on my pocket to buy a new external hard drive. I thought that I am settle enough with just the 160GB that I have in my computer but I was wrong. With tons of photos that I have been taking each day because of my Project 365, that 160GB is a shameful amount.

Finally I was able to transfer and copy files from my computer to my 500GB External hardrive the other day and with the looks of it, I can finally take more pictures and download more digital scrapbooking kits that I can hoard. I just need to keep my portable EHD from falling or else all my files will go to waste.

Scooter Fun !!

PROJECT 365: Scooter Fun
My niece Reign was in a good mood this afternoon and was kind enough to let me take a photo of her while playing with her scooter.

She just came from Quaipo with her dad because she bought DVD of Barbie Thumbelina cartoons and another compilation of cartoons that she asks me to give her. She got what she wanted that is why she is all smiles.

You Have Options

I have been stumbling upon lots of informative sites these days that I wanted to share. In fact, I am keen to know that there are people who are being informed about some of my posts. I have recently posted about a modus operandi and hoping that they will be warned about it. Anyway this post is a bit different as it can help people who are into or just thinking about trading stocks. There is an options screener program that is offered by Power Opt that can help individuals get the feel of trading and to make more money on stock option trading. It's an internet based too and you can even avail of their 14-day trial of this powerful trading tool. Reduce your risk by using this tool and learn more valuable info on trading.

Project 365: Get That Ball!

PROJECT 365: Get that Ball!
We brought Sophie at the shop and immediately after we arrived, she wanted to go down and play. We threw a ball at her and hurriedly she'll get and bite it. Of course I wanted to freeze her motion and I am so lucky to see her mid air..sooo cute..

I guess, I still need to play more around with my shutter speed settings so that I can capture it sharp. Any tips there?

Paintball Anyone?

Paintball have been becoming popular these days that it’s even been featured in my sports shows. It’s also a favorite bonding sport for most of the guys in the weekends as they can gear themselves in somewhat like battle-like games. I have been seeing lots of paintball places all over the city and with the looks of it everyone is enjoying their time playing with it. There are lots of paintball stuff that you can see and purchase at ZephyrPaintball.com as they are retailers of Paintball Guns, Paintball goggles as well as Air soft equipment and gear. Not only that they have affordable paintball gun package that you can choose from. Check them out too because they have clearance sale right now.

Taylor Swift Song : LOVE STORY lyrics and music video

Taking a break from my mind boggling online chores. I thought of listening to my recent fave song from Taylor Swift. I only knew about this beautiful and talented country pop singer from my teenage niece when I saw them looking at her pictures. I also saw her on a mini show at the TODAY SHOW the other day and I liked that song LOVE STORY. Here if you might want to listen to it.

Love Story lyrics
Songwriters: Swift, Taylor Alison;
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air

See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
And say hello, little did I know

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while

'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes

Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh oh

I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said, marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes

Oh, oh, oh, oh
'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

Warning: Don't Buy Fake Shampoos from Walk-In Vendors

I overheard at my brother that there is a man selling shampoo at them for a lower price. The man said it was an excess delivery so they are disposing them. You know me, I have a strong intuition, I told them NOT to buy it because for sure it was a scam and the shampoo is diluted with water already that is why they are selling it for a lower price.

My bro. said it was neatly packed in plastic but I told them of course they will do that so that you will not speculate. They did NOT listen to my warning so they bought the bottle of Rejoice and Head and Shoulders shampoo for P40 each (at grocery it was about P65). My SIL got 6 bottles, our 2 technicians bought 6 bottles as well = 18 bottles all = P720
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I saw my SIL paid the man and he looks so suspicions bec. he walks so fast after he got the money. After that they opened the shampoo and true enough it was diluted with water !!! (malabnaw). I was so angry at my SIL and blamed them for buying. They did not listen to me so they became victims of another nasty Modus Operandi. Now they don't want to use the shampoo bec. they are afraid that they will loose their hair..LOL

So guys be careful and don't trust anyone so easily!!

Mom's Mini-Project

Mom has started her mini-project at our home together with our househelp a week ago and knowing my mom she’d not rest not until she finally finishes it that day. She was manning our helper to fix the old cabinets and other furniture that we have. She’s been meaning to have it fixed for the longest time and finally it was done and she was very happy with the result. Just last Sunday when I came home, I saw them putting some nice shelves on the kitchen where we can put all the spices and seasonings while cooking. The outcome was nice because the cooking spices where easy to reach already. Thanks to my mom’s ingenuity.

I guess if dad is still alive, I know he’d not let mom do the manning and thinking. Anyway, like I told you, my mom will not stop not until all her mini projects are all done and I overheard she’s going to have our rain gutter cleaned and fixed next weekend. I will not wonder anymore if my mom would have our windows fixed as well next time. I just hope the workers that she’d get would be as professional and offers quality work like what Central Scotland Joinery is offering. Aside from installing double glazing windows, they also do glazing on doors and conservatories.

I guess you would agree on me if I’d say that it’s hard to take control of our finances if we are not disciplined on how to handle it. I know that there are many of us who once had problems with their credits most often than not some may have brought about by the excessive usage of their credit cards. Some may have gone into trouble that led them to have a bad credit rating.

These days there are ways on how to repair your bad credits and rmcn credit services will help you out to regain your good credit standing. Not only that at rmcn credit services , you’ll be educated about credit stuff because they have informative articles that you can read. Further more, if you are having credit problems and want help, don’t be discouraged. You can inquire at repairmycreditnow.com and contact them for further inquiries. Successful PC Reformatting

I was too pissed off last week because my other personal computer that I am using caught a very nasty virus in it. It was so nasty because even my anti-virus was disabled by it. It's my 1st time to haev encountered such so I am lost on what to do. Actually I don't even know what is the name of the virus that attacked my system, not knowing that I wasn;t able to research for a solution online.

What I did was to scan my computer with antivirus, malwarebtyes and spybot but none seems to have worked. I am trying to uninstall my anti-virus program in many different ways but it won't work. The worst thing that this virus did was I can't open any saved documents on MS office. It says it was blocked by my antivirus.

I have sought the help pf my friends online and offline but still it's the same. I have no choice but to reformat the computer and load new OS. I am glad that it is OK now. My nephews and niece are banned from using that computer for games as I am guessing it is caused by it

Teen Woes

I have been hearing my teenage niece ranting because she is gaining a bit weight. I told her that it is natural to gain a bit weight since because they eat to much during the school vacation. Now that she will be getting back to the University on the 9th of this month, I told her that pressure of studying , exams, commuting from house to school and other factors she will automatically keep her weight down. To reassure her, I also let her know that she still looks fine and very healthy.

You know how teens over react sometimes with their physical appearance, right? The slightest appearance of a single acne will make them worry much. My advice always is that there are always best acne treatment that she can find and the best thing that she can do is have proper facial hygiene so that she will not worry much.
